Appreciation

Christ is risen. Christ is risen indeed! Thanks are due to all the leaders of worship, preparers of worship materials, setters-up of worship spaces, openers and closers of churches .... for a memorable and though-provoking Holy Week. From the anointing of Jesus by Mary, reflections on Christ, the grain that dies and bears fruit, via the questions posed by Judas, the servant Lord at Last Supper, to the cross and passion...  much to ponder, much to be grateful for. Thanks everyone...

Tonight, 'Stations of the Resurrection' - 7pm in Wellington Church

Wellington International Club

GOOD FRIDAY
Please remember there will be NO INTERNATIONAL WELCOME CLUB MEETING in Wellington Church hall tonight - Friday 22 April.  Instead, anyone who would like to come with us to St John's Renfield Church, 22 Beaconsfield Road, Kelvindale, for the 7pm Good Friday service will be most welcome. This is a sombre service contemplating the death of Jesus on the cross. We look ahead too, to Easter morning when He rose again.
Grace Franklin will  be at Wellington Church hall in Southpark Avenue at 6.30pm on Friday 22 April to give a lift to anyone who is there and wishes to go to the 7pm Good Friday service in St John's Renfield. After that service, Heather has invited us to her house nearby, where she'll provide us with tea and hot cross buns which she bakes herself. They are delicious!
Come if you can.

EASTER SUNDAY
Share in the joy of Jesus' Resurrection on Sunday morning 24 April when Wellington Minister Rev Dr David Sinclair will lead us in worship at 8am at a communion service in Kelvingrove Park near the Lord Roberts statue at the top of the park off Park Terrace.
After that joyful announcement that Christ has risen. Everyone can go to Wellington church crypt cafe for breakfast. There is also an 11am service at Wellington on Easter Sunday 24 April. Anyone connected to the Club is warmly invited - Christian or curious, believer or not. Come and share our celebrations and share God's love as we understand it.

FRIDAY 29 April
Our next INTERNATIONAL CLUB MEETING will be 7.30pm at CAFE SALMA, 523 Sauchiehall Street almost next door to Charing Cross Post Office and just round the corner from North Street at the Black Sparrow. There we will have a Morroccan meal to round off our April is Africa theme nights at the INTERNATIONAL WELCOME CLUB. That meal will cost £10 per person and you can be sure it will be very special. Anyone who's budget won't stretch to £10 should have a discrete word with Heather on the night as the Club wants everyone to enjoy the evening without worry.
